All About Kiss Online Slot from Williams Interactive Gaming
Kiss the slot machine was originally launched at the 12th Global Gaming Expo in 2013. It was first made available in Las Vegas, and became an instant hit among those who enjoy Rock and Roll music and especially the music of the band Kiss.
This slot features a pretty impressive one hundred paylines with 5 reels, and was the first slot to have the Colossal Reels, with two games of 5 x 12 reels for each, making up the 100 paylines. Kiss is now available to play both online and on your mobile device. It can also be played for both real and free money, and makes an excellent start point for beginners to the online slot world. Kiss is a low variance slot, which means that big wins are few and far between, but small wins happen quite often. This may put some people off, but does lead to consistently interesting playing.
Kiss the Band Theme
So obviously the theme of this slot is the rock n roll band Kiss. The background to the reels is the stage set for the band, complete with lighting and equipment. The background music to the game is not surprisingly that of various songs being performed by Kiss, all in high quality audio. The game features loads of clips of the band performing in concert, flaming reels, and hectic guitar riffs that all add up to a pretty exciting atmosphere.
Kiss Rock n Roll Symbols
The base symbols in the game are taken from a deck of cards, with the remainder of the symbols being the members of the band itself as well as band regalia. The reels host each band member individually, the band as a group, a guitar pick and Gene Simmons’ infamous tongue. The game also features a nudging wild symbol, which comes in the shape of the bands logo. This wild symbol will expand to cover much of the reels, nudging other symbols out of the way and taking their place. This of course does not count for the scatters.
Kiss’ Colossal Reels System
This is a pretty unique system that WMS Gaming has yet to introduce to many other slot games. Basically you get two sets of reels; a main set and a Colossal set. The Colossal set have several more positions, which means that they are much taller and can be influenced by what is happening on the main set. For example, a stacked wild appearing on the main set will automatically appear on the colossal set too in the same position.
Kiss’ Free Spins Bonus Round
Scatter symbols can appear on either set of reels, and accumulate towards triggering the free spins round. A player can land a maximum of six scatters in total on reels one, three and five on both the main set and the colossal set. Weirdly five scatters will award you twenty free spins, and six scatters will do the same, which means that the sixth scatter is pretty pointless. During this free spins round, you will stand the chance of landing extra expanding wilds on both sets of reels. The rules still apply, meaning wilds found on the main reels will also be found on the colossal reels in the same position, which can lead to some pretty big wins.
